Quick facts
- Allowance
- Up to $50 per half-year; $100 per year
- Reset schedule
- January–June and July–December
- Enrollment / payment
- Enroll through Amex
How to use the benefit
- Enroll the eligible Gold account.
- Find an establishment marked eligible on Resy or Tock.
- Pay an eligible purchase using the enrolled account.
- Check the statement and remaining half-year allowance.
Restrictions and mistakes to avoid
- Eligible direct U.S. Tock purchases joined the benefit September 15, 2026.
- Gift cards, delivery, catering and third-party processing may not qualify.
- A reservation is not a payment; additional cards share the account limit.
What is it actually worth?
A $65 planned meal with $50 remaining allowance leaves $15 before nonqualifying charges. Two meals in October do not unlock both halves of the year. An unused first-half allowance is not added to the second half.
These examples are hypothetical. Use the purchases you would have made anyway, include remaining charges, and avoid counting the same saving twice.
Common questions
Is this Gold's $10 monthly Dining Credit?
No. The Resy and Dining benefits have separate allowances and eligibility rules.
Does Gold's Resy credit reset quarterly?
No. Gold uses calendar halves; Platinum uses quarters.
